 Gaetano G. Perlongo (born in Solingen-Germany
on July 6th 1970) is an intellectual, poet and
Italian essayist. After graduating in electronics,
he has studied physics at the University of Palermo,
studying from speculative mathematics to theoretical
physics. Spotted by Prof. Angelo Manitta, founder
of the International Academy “Il Convivio”, he
began his career as a writer with extreme fertility.
Ex professor at Libera Università Popolare "Danilo
Dolci" and ex publisher for the satirical
newspaper named "Il Tarlo". In February
of 2000 he realizes a portal called Danilo
Dolci nell'accademia del villaggio globale,
which has allowed students preparing their thesis
and half of the world’s students to expand on
Danilo Dolci’s exeptional intellectual experience.
This realization will provide for the recommendation
of the University of Bologna, Cagliari, Milan,
Palermo, Turin, Venice and for foreign universities
such as the Coventry in England and Stanford in
America, for the "Center for Positive Practices"
of Santa Fe (New Mexico) and for "Centro
di ricerca per la pace" of Viterbo. In October
of 2005 he founds the “Centro Studi e Ricerche
"Aleph": an international association
which deals with the development of a new way
of thinking about the problems of the XXI century.
Currently he holds seminars and tutors high school
and university students, organizing courses expanding
on physics and mathematics, as well as being the
director of the
telematic magazines "Fuorischermo" and
"Il Convivio".
